[Suitable Conditions]

The use of this drug should be considered only if dietary therapy and exercise therapy, which are the basis of diabetes treatment, have been sufficiently carried out in advance and have proven ineffective.

[Dosage and Administration]

Normally, for adults, the maintenance dose is 0.9 mg of liraglutide (recombinant), injected subcutaneously once a day in the morning or evening. However, starting with 0.3 mg once a day, the dose should be increased by 0.3 mg at intervals of at least one week. The dose may be increased or decreased as appropriate depending on the patient’s condition, and if 0.9 mg a day is ineffective, the dose may be increased by 0.3 mg at intervals of at least one week up to a maximum of 1.8 mg.
